Dr. Choedchai Khannabha - Senior Advisor
Dr. Choedchai Khannabha, currently an economic advisor to the National
Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand, was
formerly Inspector General with the Thai Ministry of Finance. As part
of his work at the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Khannabha served on the
board of directors at a number of financial institutions and companies
where the Government of Thailand held shares, including the Secondary
Mortgage Corporation (Thailand), the Government Savings Bank, and the
ASEAN Potash Mining Corporation. Dr. Khannabha was also an advisor to
Thai Senate Committee on Finance, Banking and Financial Institutions
from 2009-2011. Dr. Khannabha received his A.B. degree in economics
from Harvard University in 1972, and a Ph.D. in economics from the
University of Michigan in 1977.
