Richard Cayne - Director


Richard Cayne - CEO

Richard born Montreal, Quebec Canada, has been in Asia for over 25 years starting with 15 years' of experience in Japan where he gained much of his wealth management knowledge and experience in servicing the needs of the Japanese market. In March 2000 Richard founded the Meyer Group to further help Japanese HNWI clients in Asia and is currently Managing Director of Meyer Asset Management Limited, a wealth management advisory firm with over 3,000 clients on 5 continents. Richard speaks fluent English and French and has a working knowledge of Japanese. He resides in Bangkok Thailand where he also runs Meyer International Ltd part of the Meyer group.

Peter Upperton is British and Australian, a graduate of Birmingham University and a Chartered Accountant (Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales). He has spent the past 36 years as financial controller and chief executive officer in a wide range of industries in the UK, Africa and Asia-Pacific. His assignments included working for PriceWaterhouseCoopers and TNT Express Worldwide, before establishing in 2005 his own accounting firm, Administration Outsourcing Co., Ltd, in Bangkok, Thailand. Administration Outsourcing Co., Ltd now serves the accounting and administrative needs of over 70 local and international companies.

John is a U.S. licensed attorney working in Asia for 24+ years providing advice and counsel on a wide variety of corporate/commercial/regulatory matters and transactions within the telecommunications, technology, media, energy, and manufacturing sectors. On a regular basis John advises government entities, multinational corporations,  non-profits, international law firms, and high-net-worth individuals with regard to respective business affairs, negotiation strategies, market entry strategies, legal compliance, overall legal structures, corporate governance, and more specialized legal issues concerning telecommunications, licensing, media, data privacy, and technology matters.
